On The Rocks Ocean Lodge

This brand-new accommodation was built with you, the guest in mind. Four luxury 49m² private suites are available within the 465m² lodge. A place to indulge, reflect and relax! Welcome, as you step into the 80m² lounge with an uninterrupted panoramic view of the ocean in front of you, and sky windows with views of the mountain behind you. Either relax in the comfortable Bloc furniture next to the wood burning fireplace or step out onto the wooden decks and choose whether to just relax in one of the sun loungers provided or feel free to unwind in the heated pool or jacuzzi. There are lots of spaces for you to just chill in , on the decks or mountain facing patio, in the BBQ (braai) room. Grab a seat in the TV lounge. Wherever you sit allow the ocean to envelop your senses. Take a walk in the 5 acre nature conservancy garden and meet the local indigenous ducks on the pond.

You might even see our regular pod of dolphins, seals or even the Southern Right whales with their calves that often frolic in the deep waters just in front of the rocks. Or just enjoy the ocean waves as they crash against the rocks and fill the tidal pools right in front of you. In winter sit in the lounge or braai (BBQ) room  and cuddle up to the wood-burning fireplace, whilst watching the 140cm Tv with latest Samsung Dolby Atmos surround sound.

If you need some alone time, head to your suite. Each suite has an in room corner bath, a full bathroom en suite and a private balcony all with incredible views. Be a part of “The Conservancy”, which lies in the heart of the Kogelberg Biosphere, with an incredible variety of Fynbos and bird species that call this 5 acre natural garden with its stream and pond, home.
